To obtain the current rate(s) and annual percentage yield, please call (713) 771-9700.
COMPOUNDING AND CREDITING. Interest will be compounded monthly and will be credited to the account monthly. The annual percentage yield assumes interest will remain on deposit until maturity. A withdrawal will reduce earnings. If interest is credited to another account or paid to you by check, this may reduce earnings and may negate the effect of interest compounding.
MINIMUM BALANCE REQUIREMENTS. You must deposit $1,000.00 to open this account. You must maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,000.00 in the account each day to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield. You will earn interest for every day during the period that your account equals or exceeds the minimum daily balance requirement.
BALANCE COMPUTATION METHOD. We use the daily balance method to calculate interest on your account. this method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
ACCURAL ON NONCASH DEPOSITS. Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit noncash items (for example, checks)
TRANSACTION LIMITIONS. You cannot make additional deposits to this account during a term (other than credited interest). You cannot withdraw principal from this account without our consent except on or after maturity. (For accounts that automatically renew, there is a grace period after each renewal date during which withdrawals are permitted without penalty.) in certain circumstances, such as a death or incompetence of an account owner, the law permits, or in some cases requires, the waiver of the early withdrawal penalty. Other exceptions may also apply, for example, if this is part of an IRA or other tax-deferred savings plan.
EARLY WITHDRAWAL PROVISIONS. We will impose a penalty if you withdraw any or all of the deposited funds before the maturity date. The fee imposed will be 30 to 180 days of interest dependent on the length of the CD term.
RENEWAL POLICIES. Your account will automatically renew at maturity. You will have a grace period of 10 calendar days after maturity date to withdraw the funds in the account without being charged an early withdrawal penalty. Your account will not renew automatically at maturity. If you do not renew the account, the account will no longer earn interest after the maturity date.
